Editorial Design

I had the honor of working on the magnificent book by Laura Williams, “Wildlife in Wild Lands: Photography for Conservation in Southern South America.” This book, the result of 8 years of work and over 275,000 kilometers traveled, features 244 pages of splendid images that highlight the beauty and diversity of life in the southern region of South America.

In the design, I focused on presenting full-page images that capture the essence of each scene, combined with texts in two languages, allowing readers from different cultures to immerse themselves in this wonderful work. The six chapters of the book contain 150 stunning photographs of 113 different species, showcasing the richness and complexity of fauna and their habitats in the region.

My effort in this project was crucial to emphasize the artistic value and importance of conservation of this book, which was awarded at AmericanBookFest.com as the best book in 2018. With a flawless and captivating editorial design, I managed to highlight the essence of Laura Williams’ message and created a work that transcends cultural barriers, inviting readers to appreciate and protect wildlife in wild lands.
